Descendants of Jesse and William Oates and Muhlenberg County, Kentucky

Mariam Oates married William Wallace Warner and was my mother’s grandmother (my Mother is now 91 and still remembers “Granny”).  
    
I’m now working on the Standley family.  James Standley was an ancestor of mine.  He was murdered in Hopkins County in 1833, leaving a young family that included Susan Elizabeth; she married William W. Oates (son of William and Elizabeth Earle Oates).  William W. and Susan E. Oates were the parents of Mariam Oates.
