2) Joseph Oates of Johnston Co. Sampson County, Deed dated 5-26-1752. Deed Book 2, Page 2, Page 139-140. sold for 22 pounds Sterling, to Richard Blizzard of Duplin Co. 100 acres on the north bank of Goshen Swamp and near White Oak Branch in Duplin. used a "mark". Registered 7-15-1752.
